2,500 One Chip MSX computers sold

MSX Revival - 2,500 One Chip MSX computers sold

 Topic: MSX Revival

On May 20th, ASCII started taking pre-orders on the new One Chip MSX. Within a week, 1000 devices were pre-ordered. Now, 19 days after breaking the 2,000 pre-orders barrier, the counter on ASCII's One Chip MSX pre-order page has reached the 2,500 pre-orders milestone. At the moment, there are only three weeks left to register another 2,500 pre-orders, needed to make commercial production of the One Chip MSX possible.

..time for the 1cm-FAQ and the big final marketing-campaign I'd say..

Reaching 5000 units is only a matter of time. BTW, was the counter a good idea?
By SolidEric on July 29 2005, 19:50
That should left 2500 units pre-ordered by the non-japanese market....I hope
By adrcunha on July 29 2005, 23:54
Well... I hope Bazix has good news (like 'we got 2500+ preorders for OCM') for us in 20 days.

Just 3 weeks left and no information about code licensing, casing... it's sad.
