Challenges - André Ligthart head of MRC Bounce Challenge

 Monday, July 19, 2004 - 21:54
 Submitted by: Latok
 Topic: Challenges

On July 18th, 2004, we started the MSX Resource Center Bounce Challenge. Until October 11th, 2004, you can all send your submissions to bounce@msx.org

We thought the head of the jury for this challenge really has to know how to bounce around. We wanted someone from the MSX demoscene with huge credits and equal experience. We think we succeeded in finding the right man and therefor, with pride, we can reveal that the MRC Bounce Challenge jury will be headed by André Ligthart. André was part of the famous MSX group ANMA. In the early 90s, they enjoyed the MSX scene with some of the best mindblowing demos and games there have ever been for the MSX2-platform. Games such as No Fuss, Nosh, Frantic and Troxx were all created by ANMA. If you have never seen their work before, we suggest to download ANMA's Amusement Disk and have a look at The Source Of Power.

Together with the MRC crew, he will judge the games and demos and decide the winners. His votes will count the heaviest of them all, so it is really André who will make the difference. Keep in mind though, participating is more important than winning. Creating for MSX is just a fun thing to do!

You can find a list of all the entries right here

Ro: You should have known using the 'refresh register' is a patented ANMA technology
By BiFi on July 21 2004, 06:24
As if any other software company didn't use it as a randomizer before Anma did...
