After 22 years, Konami's Ganbare Goemon, also known as Samurai, is translated! You can now enjoy the 49 levels of this game, without wondering what you're doing. This translation was realized by Tsunami and Max Iwamoto. Apart from the English text, a few new features have been added to this game as well. Behold:
  • bigger text windows to accommodate the larger English texts
  • new intro screen graphics
  • recoded password system
  • removal of some minor bugs and flaws
  • possibility to start the game in 60Hz mode on PAL computers
  • separate cheat patch for those who find the difficulty too hard

hap, I believe "Samurai" is the name Russians call it. 99.99999% of us never saw real cartridges in our whole life. If you run a Japanese game and cannot read and understand anything, you choose the name for it yourself, according to what you think it's about. Then the files named SAMURAI.001 etc. got copied to hundreds of places during some computer olympiads or so-called "Schools of young programmers" and voila - the game loses it's original identity.
