Goemon DS + Goemon GBA = Space Manbow MSX?

MSX Related - Goemon DS + Goemon GBA = Space Manbow MSX?

During their MSX days, Konami often offered special game features when combining two different Konami Cartridges in both cartridge ports. With the Nintendo DS having both a Nintendo DS and a Gameboy Advance game port, Konami was bound to pull the same joke again.

Right here, the Japanese retrogaming portal RetroPC revealed that when the GBA version and the Nintendo DS version of Konami's Goemon games are combined, the player gets to play a game of Space Manbow. As an added bonus to MSX owners, the bottom screen of the Nintendo DS will even show an MSX computer with the Space Manbow cartridge insterted in slot 1.

If it's like on Konami's page... does that like decrease the chance of it being a hoax?

thanks for the additional info;
does the same cartridge combination run quarth as well?

By Samor on June 23 2005, 18:24
note that if I babelfish the article, from what I can make up it features only 1 stage.
That's kind of a bummer, if it's true.
