HispaMSX.org hacked!

People who visited the Spanish MSX portal Hispamsx.org this morning were in for a surprise, as the site had been attacked and taken offline by hackers. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time these kind of attacks happen on MSX related websites. ag0ny, the hispamsx.org webhoster, has however already managed to get the website back in action.

Hacking an MSX website... how sad... :/ Good to see there was no permanent damage and the site was back up this quickly. Way to go, Karloch!

Thanks to get my messy newpost in a correct way. And according to Hispamsx Yahoo Mailing list, the site is online again thanks to a backup made in 11th May.

Script kiddies. Nothing to worry about. They aren't specifically targetting MSX sites. These kids just scan domains looking for vulnerable PHPNuke installations. No technical knowledge (nor common sense) is involved.

Vaya siempre pasa lo mismo. Se ve que hay gente por ahí que no es feliz sin fastidiar a los demás. Menos mal que tenemos de nuevo a HispaMSX de nuevo online. Larga vida al MSX!!!
