Knightmare Gold is an MSX2 remake of
Konami's classic
Knightmare, originally released for MSX1 in 1986. Using the capabilities of the MSX2, the Knightmare gold remake adds multicolor sprites, the possibility to use
the Knightmare Audio CD for BGM, different color settings and the famous double wave Konami logo as a bootscreen. The game will be released on a CD-ROM and will function as a patch to the original Knightmare ROM.
