| | |
| By Ramones on January 07 2008, 12:51 | Yes Nestor.
And... the next version with ethernet 100% compatible with InterNestor Lite. xDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
(es broma, es broma).
Is a slotexpander, of course: Slot x-0 SD/MMC Reader, and slot x-1, 4Mb memory.

Why not? Put an Ethernet controller, include an Ethernet UNAPI compatible BIOS and hop! You are InterNestor compatible.

A new card + memory appears, Imanok does not code games using nestorbasic anymore... what's next?

Cool! Card reader and 4MB RAM ... Is this legal stuff?
Anyway, it should work great!!!
I think that anyone could sell "MSX" compatible stuff if their don't stick to use the official logo.

| By Ramones on January 08 2008, 00:05 | Perfectly Legal.
Slot X-0 : Card Reader
Slot X-1 : 4 Mb Ram.
Of course, this does not work in an slot expander, since the card takes built-in one internally.

Question: Will this board fit in a MSX slot? The width seems a little long.

| By jltursan on January 10 2008, 10:27 | The card is already finished and for sure it fits, I've seen it in action and if I'm not wrong the basic version fits inside a Konami/ASCII cart (if you drill the card holes, of course).

One more question: The features says "Embedded MSXDOS 2.31 Kernel inside the System. Fully functional in MSX1." Does this mean I can run MSXDos 2.31 on my MSX2+ with only 64k ram?

No. You need 128k Ram for use MSXDOS2. In MSX1, 2,2+ or Turbo R.

I think that ASCII MSX-DOS2 ROM cartridge comes with 256KB Memory Mapper RAM inside. If you need more than version 2.20 ...
