In a brand new music video of
Lenny Kravitz, a couple of MSX computers can be spotted. To top it off, some of the graphical effects in this music video were created on MSX. Yes, you have read it right the first time: MSX computers appear and have been used in the latest Lenny Kravitz music video.
In a project called
Absolut Kravitz, the Swedish Vodka brand
Absolut have published several remixes of Lenny Kravitz's song
Breathe, remixed by such artists as
Jazzanova,
Little Louie Vega and
Eric Roberson. A music video was made for each remix. The remix we are interested in, is the one remixed by
Nikko Patrelakis. The music video to this remix contains the MSX graphics and cameos. If you wonder how this all could happen: the music video was created by the
C-Men and
Unyx. Regular MRC visitors will probably know the
C-Men, who broadcasts the chiptune radio show
Airwaves and uses the nickname
poke-1,170 on the MRC.
In the movies section of
Absolut Kravitz, you can download the music video that belongs to the remix in both MPEG and MOV format. Can you spot all the MSX action going on in the movie?
