Loek van Kooten is now to have a good listen to all entries and their original versions. As soon as he has reached a verdict, we will publish the results of the MRC Scene Music Remake challenge. In the mean time, especially if your tracks were re-arranged, why don't you let us know what you think of the remakes in the reactions? Which one is your favorite? We would like to thank everyone who joined the challenge. Now, on to the MSXArt' 06 challenge!

| By BiFi on March 06 2006, 07:23 | I guess Meits would've entered number 13 again then?
| | |
| By DarQ on March 06 2006, 11:52 | no i would... (but meits did some playing)
i couldnt mix/master it before the deadline
| | |
| By DarQ on March 06 2006, 11:53 | Children of the Corn is going to win anyway... it may not be the best, but it's the coolest song there is!
| | |
| By snout on March 06 2006, 12:28 | DarQ: if you manage to finish the song this week, it can still enter the competition with a one point penalty. I for one am curious what you cooked up this time!
| | |
| By DarQ on March 06 2006, 12:32 | hmm, i really doubt it.. the idea was to finalize it with a friend of mine and i can only see him in the weekends. And this weekend there is a party in groningen so we'll spend our time there...
i could try to do it myself but i lack the expertise and he has proper hardware... And i don't like sending in this unmastered version, i'll probably get complaints about the awfull unmixed sound
but ill consider it..
| | |
| By snout on March 06 2006, 12:41 | well, please do consider sending it in outside the competition then. It's the result that matters, rite?
| | |
| By DarQ on March 06 2006, 12:46 | yes, i have considered that. i will send it in some day
| | |
| By BiFi on March 06 2006, 15:52 | was referring to the frequency of meits' entries...
1, 5, 9, (13)
| | |
| By MeitsNearDark on March 06 2006, 18:01 | DarQ: Come along with all the seperate tracks and we'll poop something out...
| | |
| By MeitsNearDark on March 06 2006, 18:40 | Hmmm...
Just checked my 3rd entry 'all there is to see' after a download from msx.org.
This resampling of mp3s payed its toll, I guess...
Compare the plopping hihats of the entry to the original...
Loek, please judge 'that' one

| By SolidEric on March 06 2006, 19:20 | I was busy with a track, but could'nt finish it in time! I think it never will be finished, because a problem in mixing.
| | |
| By DarQ on March 06 2006, 22:49 | well, i guess we can try that meitske!
| | |
| By Low_Profile on March 07 2006, 14:49 | The info at 'All there is to see' is not entirely correct. It says it comes from 'Noise Disk 3' which is highly unlikely since there never was a #2... and guess what, there was never a #3 either
| | |
| By snout on March 07 2006, 15:38 | Ah, fixed it in the newspost, but not in the description @ the download. Fixed it properly now... ^_^
| | |
| By Low_Profile on March 07 2006, 18:53 | maybe i should release noisedisk #2 (back to basics) and noisedisk #3 (noisedisk revolutions) in the coming years then
| | |
| By snout on March 07 2006, 19:40 | I'd say - bring it on!
