| | | | Friday, August 05, 2005 - 17:25 Submitted by: Bart Topic: MSX Resource Center | | On June 30th, 2004 our MSX Forum, which was launched on September 27th, 2000, crossed the 25,000 posts barrier. Now, a bit more than 13 months later, we have just crossed the 50,000 posts barrier. Once again, the MSX Community have shown that MSX is far from dead.
The MSX Forum makes it possible to get in touch with MSX users from all over the world with great ease, allowing MRC members to share knowledge, ask questions, discuss old and new developments, give or receive feedback on projects that are in development and much, much more. Throughout the year several projects have been initiated, improved and/or completed (partly) thanks to the discussions held at our MSX Forum. New development groups have been formed and many people have learned a lot about the details on hardware, software, development, emulation and history of MSX.
Once again, we would like to thank everybody who has ever posted one or more posts in our forums and encourage everybody to register an account (if you have not already done so) and join the discussions on the most active MSX discussion platform in the world today!

| By snout on August 06 2005, 01:59 | It was Oscar saying "BiFi, I have heard that MCCM Millenium CDs where for 'subscribers only'... I think there is no way to get these CDs... or not?"
in this forum thread. Isn't that exciting?

| By Oscar on August 06 2005, 20:36 | Ueeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations for all people that post in the forum too!!

| By Oscar on August 06 2005, 20:38 | Well... I don't want a concrete price... just a prize
| | |
| By SaebaMSX on August 06 2005, 20:48 | Hey, you already ordered the 1CMSX... so what could they give you as a prize?
| | |
| By Oscar on August 06 2005, 20:53 | Well... I think this event is a turning point in MSX history... that's means the prize must start from something like a King's Valley 2 gold cartridge for example... minimum!!! Just jocking! juas juas

| | |
| By Oscar on August 07 2005, 14:43 | Next is 100.000?
| | |
| By snout on August 07 2005, 14:54 | I think we'll do a post at 75.000 as well
| | |
| By poke-1,170 on August 07 2005, 16:48 | sheesh....what's wrong with 61387?
Another option would be... the "word of the day"
As you sometimes see in old tv shows.
They pick a word ,say,"holiday".. Someone in the show accidentially says it in a sentence..
and HEY bingo !!! BAlloons fall down, stupid music and laughing hosts and all.
SO...Snout or Bart, pick a word in english, let some little prog know what it is and check if it
has been said, and if so, that person should get a penguin with a party hat icon
If you think that's just the lamest idea ever,I understand and will continue with my "vingerverfschilderij"
right now

| By Edwin on August 07 2005, 23:32 | I think 65536 is waaaaaay more memorable than 75000!
| | |
| By wolf_ on August 08 2005, 00:17 | Agree, but then again, we already missed/skipped 32768, 16384, etc. ..
There's already the 2^x for private forumposts, that'll do ^_^
| | |
| By Pentaru on August 09 2005, 11:22 | I'm proud to be a part of this success...
| | |
| By [D-Tail] on August 16 2005, 00:02 | wolf_: it's 2^x + 1 for private forumposts, but what the heck ;-)
Moreover, 2^16 is far more important than 2^15... But it might take a while before we reach the 2^32 forumposts
