Rafael Jannone has released standalone versions of MSX Screen Conversor, a online toolkit to convert JPG, PNG and GIF files from up to 400kb to SCREEN 2, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 12. Until now, the tool had only been available as online tool
over here, but now a much requested Windows executable and Linux source code (using commandline PHP) have been released as well. Both versions have just been released on
Google Code.
