MSX T-Shirts: More than 100 T-Shirts sold!

MSX Resource Center - MSX T-Shirts: More than 100 T-Shirts sold!

 Submitted by: snout
 Topic: MSX Resource Center

On March 23rd we launched a Flash Game to celebrate the fact we had started to sell genuine MSX T-Shirts on our website, right here. Within three weeks, more than 100 MSX T-Shirts were sold, which was the minimum amount of T-Shirts we had to sell to make it all possible.

As of today, we gathered all the further information we needed. The T-Shirts we will be using are the Super Premium quality shirts of Fruit of the Loom. The MSX Logo will be printed on these blue T-Shirts by silk-screen. The shipping and packaging costs of the T-Shirts are built-up as follows:
  • If you are to collect the MSX T-Shirts at an MSX fair/meeting in the Netherlands, you don't have to add any shipping or packaging costs
  • If you live in the Netherlands, shipping costs are 2,- if you ordered 1 shirt and 3,- if you ordered more than 1 shirt
  • If you live in Europe, shipping costs are 2,55 if you ordered 1 shirt and 4,- if you ordered more than 1 shirt
  • If you live outside Europe, shipping costs are 3,55 if you ordered 1 shirt and 6,35 if you ordered more than 1 shirt
Everybody who pre-ordered an MSX T-Shirt will receive an e-mail with detailed information. It can take a while until you receive yours, we appreciate your patience on this one.

By the way, you can still decide whether the T-Shirts should carry the MSX Logo, the complete MSX2 Bootscreen or the complete MSX 2+/turboR bootscreen by voting on our current poll!

You can order your MSX T-Shirt(s) until June 1st, 23:59 CET right here. At the same time, our Flash Game competition will close. The person who has reached the highest score at that time, will win a free MSX T-Shirt! The current top 25 can be found over here.

And of course, when everyone has her tshirts all around the globe, we want to see them in action
By snout on May 01 2005, 19:36
Indeed.. wear your MSX T-Shirt with pride to TV-Shows, big events, concerts and .. well. anywhere actually.. You never know if, when and how you can get MSX in the Media.

Wear them? ..sweaters for in the winter-months would be welcome then ^_^.. how about that? what more can we expect to order in the future?

Signed photos from the MRC crewmembers, of course.

This is great news, I would love to wear it for work. We have a strict policy at work that states "no logo" on any shirt
By msxgamesbox on May 01 2005, 22:11
Need it urgently - saw someone in Brussels yesterday with an Atari t-shirt walking around
By wolf_ on May 01 2005, 22:40
If you wear an opened jacket over such a shirt then there's only the 'S' visable .. with the blue background, ppl will ask whether you're Superman
By Grauw on May 01 2005, 23:24
Noo, turboR text has 2 votes more than MSX2 text! Vote, people! TurboR was never released here, and I don’t have one, so an MSX2 logo text would be much nicer .
By Sonic_aka_T on May 02 2005, 01:06
Okay, one: buy a frigging turboR!!! two: it's not going to beat 'just a logo' in any event
By mars2000you on May 02 2005, 01:19
And now a difference of 3 votes for Turbo-R !

Yes, it's my fault
By snout on May 02 2005, 02:56
the poll is getting quite difficult now. There's a majority for 'just the logo', but there's a majority for 'more than just the logo' (e.g. : MSX2/MSX2+andturboR bootscreen) as well. Make up your minds, MSX fans!

I would also like to have a nice coffe mug with the MSX logo. That would be really cool

Or the sunglasses from snout ..

What about a hyper cool blue T-Shirt with the MSX(1) boot screen? (^_^)b. I'll surely buy one of those!
By SKiLLa on July 06 2005, 08:07
Yes, the pre-ordering is closed and the shirts will be produced,
I just paid my 2 shirts in advance ;-) ... can't wait till they're ready !
