From May 3rd to May 17th, Sander Zuidema of Bazix visited Japan in order to attend the MSX World 2005 ~ I love MSX event in Akihabara, Tokyo. Luckily, MRC admin snout is one and the same person and of course he could not resist writing an in-depth article on the days he spent in Japan, the MSX World 2005 fair and a summary of Mr. Kazuhiko Nishi's lecture during the fair.

Together with Bernard Lamers, who is also responsible for a lot of background information used in the Japan 2005 (MSX World) article, Javi Lavandeira and Keita Goto a huge photoshoot of more than 500 pictures of the trip was composed as well. The MRC Japan 2005 photoshoot shows you around in Tokyo city, and of course gives a huge collection of pictures taken during the MSX World 2005 fair. If you want to move straight to the MSX World 2005 pictures, this is your starting point. With a big thank you to everybody who contributed to the article and photoshoot the MRC team advises you to sit back, relax and have a nice look at the pictures, and a thorough read of the article. Enjoy!

The photoshoots section now contains more than 2,100 pictures taken on several MSX events all around the world from the 1990s to present. If you have any pictures taken on MSX meetings or fairs, don't hesitate to send them to photoshoots@msx.org and we will add them to our collection.

Amazing photoshot. Felt like I was there. Saldy I really wasn't 8'(, could have bought that TR for 3000 yen, and t-shirts, and games, and music and... (drool like Homer Simpson)

Great and extremely detailed report, I enjoyed reading it a lot. Also the photoshoot is amazing. Congratulations, snout!. Keep on the good work!

Thanks.. I tried to make as many pictures and a complete a report as possible, so you can all pretend you were there with me

It's beyond me how the characteristic Nissan Cube didn't make it to any of the pictures though... that car is practically everywhere in Tokyo!

(actually, this is just a commercial breakdown sponsored by Nissan in order to make up for the increasing hosting costs of MRC )

Would our sponsor get mad if I said that's the ugliest piece of vehicle I've seen in quite a while?
By snout on May 23 2005, 19:30
I guess they won't, as they're not paying a single penny! But euhm.. you somehow get used to the car after a while. It's not as breathtakingly horrid as the Fiat Multipla, you know

Only a few words to say...

Just THANK YOU very much for these nice and wonderful pictures !!!!

It was a pleasure !!!

Greetings.
