It's 2005. More than 10 years since the last MSX computers and software were commercially produced. So what are sites like
Slashdot Japan,
ASCII24,
4gamer,
itMedia,
Gamespot,
IGN and
DGS online all talking about? Well, with
8bit weapon performing on US Cable TV with an MSX minded VeeJay (poke -1,170), Hideo Kojima launching
Kojima Productions and including
Metal Gear 1 and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake in Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence and
MSX Association and
ASCII announcing the One Chip MSX on MSX World 2005, these media have more than enough reasons to write about MSX. And so they did. And so they got added to the
list of nominees to the second
MSX in the Media Challenge.
Did you see more about these events in other media? Did you get or spot MSX in the media? Let us know by sending a mail to
msxmedia@msx.org and we'll add it to the list of nominees.
