MSXDev'05: Magical Stones

Games & Demos - MSXDev'05: Magical Stones

 Saturday, May 07, 2005 - 13:31
 Submitted by: pitpan
 Topic: Games & Demos

The first finished MSXdev'05 game was published yesterday at Robsy's MSX Workshop. Magical Stones, by Alfonso D.C. (a.k.a. Dioniso, MSXdev contests regular), is a jewel-destroyer puzzle game, in some aspects similar to Columns but with a different gameplay. Excellent graphics, sound and gameplay are aspects of this new MSX 'classic'.

Magical Stones may be downloaded directly by following this link. Already 14 projects are registered at the MSXdev'05 status page. It is expected more will follow.

Wow pretty cool game Great job Dioniso!
By BiFi on May 07 2005, 18:16
it's addictive as hell... played it for quite some time yesterday
By BiFi on May 07 2005, 18:19
after hearing about it on #msxdev of course...
By viejo_archivero on May 07 2005, 19:42
Yes, this time the MRC crew have been a bit late. Anyway, I spotted it here yesterday in this forumpost.

The game rocks! Great job, Dioniso!

BiFi: Thanks for your ever amazing and constructive contributions to the MRC. Instead of using the Submit news feature for what it's intended, you decide to complain the news was already available through other channels beforehand. Like that never happened before. Keep it up bro, keep it up... The MRC team deserve a big compliment for filling the gap that's caused by me being in Japan for a week or two. They deserve a few thumbs up, and not a single thumb down imho.
By dioniso on May 08 2005, 06:22
Thumbs down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just joking. Please, it's not worth it. Just enjoy the game, or try to enjoy the game ... it's been made for you all!!!
By BiFi on May 08 2005, 12:46
Geez snout, did you leave your sense of humour in Japan or something? I guess you'd better get a few days of sleep to get rid of the jetlag (next time)... :\
By snout on May 08 2005, 16:52
I'm still in Japan, BiFi, I'm still in Japan. And I've got my sense of humour with me. No worries. That doesn't mean I can't be annoyed though.

Bifi's remark did strike me as a kind of uncalled commercial for #msxdev tho...
By Vincent van Dam on May 08 2005, 20:05
...anyway, good work dioniso!
By [D-Tail] on May 09 2005, 07:39
Yeah, great effort. It sure is addictive!
