A new link was added to our links database today. The Spanish MSXMag website looks back into the past to reminisce the good old times and enjoy again those wonderful old magazines, games and programs.

Relevant link: MSXMag

In the latest Barcelona MSX users meeting there was a stand selling CDs containing the four Spanish MSX magazines (MSX Club, MSX Extra, Input MSX and MSX Magazine) scanned in PDF format.

Those magazines were sold in Spain during the eighties-early nineties. The price of each CD was 10 euros (the complete collection occupied 5 CDs).

Just for your info

Anybody up for putting them on Funet?
Or is the material still copyrighted?
By Niles on May 16 2003, 08:50
I just have a few original magazines (15-20) but i'll scan them and publishing on my web and put on Funet too. I don't think this material is still copyrighted (who can expect to earn $ with this? )

Copyrights are not about earning money. :/

Probably some of them are still copyrighted. Anyway I'm not going to upload the magazines to Funet because I'm not who scanned them (and this person is still earning some money for his work).

ok ok... copyright exists and we have to respect it, for money or something else. But i buy these magazines 20 years ago and i thougt "well, i like this, i suppose there is more people like me :S who wants this kind of old-stuff, let's scan and put at inet for everybody..."
I'm not going to earn money, break a law or fight against any copyright owner so, if there is any problem with this, i'll retire from my URL, no problemo
Thanks to all for comment this.
