Challenges - MSXart Unlimited

Three weeks ago the MSXart'08 contest was closed, unfortunately with only a few entries. Remarkable, as in earlier years there used to be lots of (amusing) entries. Together with the news regarding the winner of MSXart'08, the follow-up of this contest was announced, and here it is: MSXart Unlimited! Some aspects remain the same, others have changed. An overview of the rules:
  • No deadline. Just send your submission whenever you feel like it! With enough entries in a year, a calendar will be created from these entries.
  • Use any tools you need. Whether it's Photoshop or good ol' Designer Plus, use whatever you want.
  • All common graphical filetypes are accepted, such as BMP, JPG, PNG, PSD etc. An image made with MSX software can also be submitted but should at least come as a typical graphical PC format as well. Practically this is a matter of making a screenshot of your MSX screen with a decent MSX emulator.
  • Any resolution goes. But in order to publish a calendar, there are a handful of rules to keep in mind. More details here.
  • Pick any theme you like, as long as it's in some way related to MSX. Now and then, the organization may come up with an idea for a theme in order to inspire potential artists.
All what's left now are the actual contributions. Perhaps with these new rules, MSXart Unlimited can compensate for the lack of entries for MSXart'08. If your masterpiece is finished, send it to msxart@passionmsx.org and the MSX world will know about it.

Happy painting, and beat the devil out of it!

A*W*E*S*O*M*E*!

I'll try to convince my girl to pose as Fray!
There's resemblance, despite the hair colour...
