MSXdev'04 is a mini-game development competition to promote new games for the first generation of MSX computers. MSXKun, leader of PAXANGA SOFTWARE, has submitted his entry to MSXdev'04. It is called 'Eat Blue! 2004' and can be downloaded from the MSXdev'04 status page of MSX Workshop. More games will be released very soon.

On the Robsy site, you can read this about this rom game :

"Compatibility note: at the moment, this ROM file is only compatible with RuMSX emulator, loading it as 16 KB ROM file in $8000. A full compatible version will be soon published. "

For info, advanced emulators like blueMSX use rom databases with crc codes to start the rom types. Almost rom mapper types are implemented, especially the "BASIC ROM" mapper.

So, this game works perfectly in blueMSX if the user adds the crc code (CAEF6E71), the mapper type "basic" and the name of the game in the extern rom database.

By the way, the blueMSX manual explains how to proceed to find the crc code

Thanks for the info! I will update it as soon as possible. I have only included what the coder told me, but we expect to make a more compatible version of the ROM.
