Games & Demos - MSXdev'06 #04 - Los Jardines de Zee Wang Zu

Jose Javier Franco Benitez (Jos'b) has just released the fourth MSXDev'06 game! In Los Jardines de Zee Wang Zu (Zee Wang Zu's Gardens), a snake game made in assembler, you must guide the Holy Dragon in his search for the ten magic seals through lots of stages. A simple, but really funny game from the author who also made games such as Colmena, Ito Ipi or Speed Black.

There's little over a month left to submit an entry for this popular competition. While a small game should still be possible to create, time is running now. If you still want to compete with an entry, now is the time to start working on it! The most important prizes are a turbo R FS-A1-GT and of course the initiative from Matra and Karoshi to create real cartridges from of 32KB entries!

Grrreat news!A simple game, but funny and addictive- the magic touches in every good game -.Congrats!

Great, another game! Some comments though: the responsiveness of the controls are not very good and really hinder the game play... Maybe you can improve that before the deadline? It's also a bit annoying you can die by changing to the direction opposite to the one you are going. For a game like this, the responsiveness is crucial!

By the way, the music is great and the speed too

Nice game. The best snake clone I've seen Cool to see a screen 1 based game. That was my favorite screen mode for a while. Some levels were quite hard. As manuel said it would be nice if the input were responding a little bit quicker. Other than that I think its a very nice game. Good job.

Btw, do you have an english translation on the last level?

Eeeem, how many levels it has?

I agree, commnds respond too late!!!

This is very bad for the gameplay, for the rest the game is with good music and general look

Nice game but it should have had a better responsiveness.
