New SymStudio Site, call to help testing

Development - New SymStudio Site, call to help testing

 Friday, May 23, 2008 - 22:14
 Submitted by: manuel
 Topic: Development

SymStudio developer Trebmint is desperately searching for people to help him test SymBasic and SymStudio. He has put up a new website and plans to upload the latest SymStudio and tutorials for SymBasic shortly. You will already find documentation and tutorials on SymStudio there, but the content may not yet fully reflect the latest state of SymStudio.

SymStudio is the development environment (IDE) for SymbOS, the 21st century operating system for your MSX, or Amstrad CPC. It contains all the tools you need for developing first class SymbOS applications; SymBasic is the programming language used.

Wow, that's REALLY good news!
But the download links are broken!!!
By Trebmint on May 24 2008, 19:49
Hey, yes the downloads are broken for the moment. Once the new symbasic docs are finished I'll upload the new symstudio.
By Nautilus on May 24 2008, 20:08
I'll be waiting for it.
By kliis on May 25 2008, 13:52
I'll give it a try when it's available for download...
I remember that some time ago I installed it but it didn't work correctly on Windows Vista (yes, you can curse me for using Vista ). Do you know if the new version will work fine?
By Trebmint on May 25 2008, 16:21
It should work with Vista, but who knows. I'm sure it won't take long to fix whatever the issues are. Unfortunately I develop on XP, and don't have access to Vista for test purposes, so I'll probably need a Vista owner to annoy

Trebmint: You can count on me! Please annoy me as much as you need!
