Games & Demos - New files added to our downloads section

MSX has always been a computer which stimulates creativity. There is a lot of amateur software being created for the MSX system. Msx.org tries to be a platform where developers and MSX users meet. For developers it is nice to know their work is being rewarded, for the user it's just cool as fuck to have new content for the MSX.

Here you have the reason why msx.org has set up a downloads section. In this section, you will find lots of software which is being distributed through msx.org in a legal way. Let's make it a success and fire up the MSX spirit we all still share.

What did we upload today? Here's a list:

A very big thank you to the people behind these softwaretitles who agreed on sharing their work with the ever growing MSX community. Bare in mind msx.org has over 2000 unique visitors a day, at the moment!

We ask you, MSX creator, to join in and send your work to downloads@msx.org. It doesn't need to be a complete game or demo. And it doesn't need to have the best quality. It's all about creativity, so don't hold back and share your pictures, musics and basic listings! It will be added to our downloads section and many MSX-ers will enjoy this, often new, content!

Check this newsposting for a list of previous downloads. And discuss the downloads in the msx.org forums.

By BiFi on July 09 2003, 07:54
or on a better MSX emulator.
By sunrise on July 09 2003, 12:49
Indeed ASCII makes it come true
By Bart on July 09 2003, 13:25
ASCII??? You mean MSX Association I guess
By sunrise on July 09 2003, 13:56
I am almost sure yes ASCII cause that stands on the label of the CD-Rom and also on the MSX-Magazine. MSX Associations owns the Bios and ofcourse they still work together but won't make this clear to the public.
In Dutch it is called sterhuisconctructie
By GuyveR800 on July 09 2003, 14:38
The MSX Magazine is published by ASCII, and the MSX PLAYer published on the CD-ROM with the magazine has a ASCII skin. But the technology of the emulator itself is property of MSX Association.

What´s a sterhuis?
By GuyveR800 on July 09 2003, 14:54
LOL
By GuyveR800 on July 09 2003, 14:55
I think he meant 'sterfhuis'
By snout on July 09 2003, 18:31
Still, ASCII is merely a publisher in this case.

You get the picture Guyver
