| | One Chip MSX Western Edition postponed |
| | Tuesday, June 12, 2007 - 17:45 Submitted by: KdL Topic: MSX Revival | | Yesterday, Bazix have informed their customers and people subscribed to the One Chip MSX Newsletter that the production of the One Chip MSX for the Western Market has, unfortunately, been postponed until further notice. D4 Enterprise was not able to produce the 'Western Market' batch before the end of Spring 2007, as initially intended.
The hardware design of the One Chip MSX is currently under investigation and alteration. Reasons are RoHS compliancy of the ciruit board, component availability and costs. Also a different, transparent casing is preferred for the Western edition. This modified One Chip MSX, produced for distribution on the Western market, is likely to be distributed as a 'limited edition' in Japan as well. Bazix is to inform their customers and potential customers subscribed to the One Chip MSX Newsletter about the status of this project when more concrete information becomes available.

= You loss the north, dude
Bazix and OCM-western version initiative it's voluntary. It is a mess that there was delayed due to technical issues with European specifications control, but at least there is some people trying to make this computer.
You have just another option: to have nothing.

| By KNM on June 13 2007, 18:57 | Nothing is exactly what they are selling us since the beginning of the revival. We are the assbottom of the world for them.I´ve pre-ordered an OCM just the news released, but for now this news from japan I think is for "preparing us for the worst"...
In ohter words : I´ve definitive lost my faith on having an OCM...
PS : As I said before, nothing bad to Bazix. lIt´s labour on this is absolutely GREAT GREAT GREAT.I´m sure this guys are spitting fire too due to this situation...

| By snout on June 13 2007, 20:03 | I think it's save to say that we @ Bazix would rather have been shipping OCMs long time ago, so "we're in this one together".

BTW,I said sorry before write it by the circumstances.I´m very upset with the japanese people involved in this.So much time talking the same sh*t and nothing to do yet for "adapting" the OCM for europe.Sounds bad...so bad...

| Well... Catalan/Valencian. Read wikipedia

| By KNM on June 14 2007, 14:49 | ...Check the "Dicionario de la Real Academia" and learn some history...
BTW : from Wiki ...
The Autonomy Statute refers to the Valencian language as valencià, a name used traditionally since the fifteenth century. There is a private association called Lo Rat Penat that campaigns for Valencian as a separate language with a different written norm and has firmly supported attempts by local centralist and mainly right-wing politicians to split Valencian and Catalan norms apart. However, their theories are not supported in academic circles.

|
Well, it's freedom for non-smokers who don't have to flee a cafe or restaurant anymore.. since non-smokers are the majority.. yes.. it's freedom.
| | |
| By Samor on June 16 2007, 18:53 | This non-smoker thinks it's stupid, actually.
And then on the train stations, like for example in Nijmegen, they place the "rook-zuilen" right in front of the entrance. Meaning that thanks to this anti-smoking campaign I ended up smoking more instead.
slowly but surely our freedom is being taken away. It's not just smoking, but us Dutch go along with every new little rule, it's in our passive nature.
...anyway, sorry for the OT....
