Francesco Maida sent us the eighth entry to the
MRC Oneliner Challenge, which is a game called
Typin' Safari. The game comes with the following description:
Holy Cow! There's something evil happening into your MSX! The characters in the ASCII table are alive! They are planning to take over the world, so it's time for a brave hunter to stop 'em! Every time an evil character appears on the screen, press the corresponding key on your keyboard to capture it. Watch out: as you progress in your fight, the evil characters appears more and more quickly than before. A small advice: Just remember to turn on CAPS LOCK before starting.
The
MRC Oneliner Challenge is an MSX-BASIC development contest in which a developer can create a game, demo, song or utility in only one line of BASIC. The winner will be rewarded with a special 3-in-1 MSX pen. Please send your one line MSX-BASIC entries to
oneliner@msx.org before September 28th, 23:59 CET if you want to join the challenge.
