On May 16th, the 3rd round of the PSG.MOE competition was announced. PSG.MOE is a competition in which different chiptune composers try to release a PSG re-arrangement of a song that is not easily re-arranged on a 3 or 4 channel PSG alone. In round 2, they took a shot at re-arranging
Franz Liszt's piano etude
La Campanella. It resulted in nice entries from
Hackurl,
DRM,
Wiz and
Daria, which can all be downloaded from the
PSG.MOE website.
This time, chiptune composers around the world have until August 5th to give their PSG interpretation of
Zero, a BGM from
NamcoBandai's
Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War, a shooter game released on
PlayStation 2. So far, 6 composers have announced to compose an entry. You can find out more about the PSG.MOE competition, rules and the previous challenges
