RPG company poll down, game hero poll up

Polls - RPG company poll down, game hero poll up

 Topic: Polls

It's halfway the month again, time for a new poll! Prior to presenting the new poll, let's have a look at the outcome of the RPG company poll from April/May. Which company made the best RPG? After 533 votes, here is the result:
  1. Konami 25.33%
  2. Falcom 22.89%
  3. Microcabin 18.76%
  4. Compile 16.70%
  5. Other 16.32%
Conclusion? Konami seems to have done it again! No matter the quality of RPGs from Falcom, Microcabin, Compile and others, it's reasonable to assume that their games have been Snatched!

The new poll is again a light one, like the polls are planned to be until MRC2k8 will be out. What would be your favorite lead character in a game? It doesn't matter whether this character is -for instance- flying a spaceship, James Burton who flies Metalion in Nemesis 2 would be a man in this poll. Extra-Terrestrials refer to aliens and such. Supernaturals are ghosts, spirits, and the likes. Mechanical/artificial refers to robots and androids, and if you can come up with something as vague as a pac man, then Undefined entity is your choice.

If you have an idea for a interesting poll, send your idea to poll@msx.org and we will consider running your suggestion for a month.

Someone had some serious lack of inspiration, when he thought if the new poll?

Yeah. Of course. Again Konami rules.

Come on, dudes. In any poll where the terms Konami, SD Snatcher o Metal Gear are mentioned, there is always a strong bias favouring them. I'm not saying that they deserve some honours, what I'm saying is that there is life and MSX besides Konami and its productions.

Totally agree with pitpan.
