After offering our news in
Spanish,
Dutch and
Portuguese, the MSX Resource Center is very proud to announce that our website interface, together with the latest MSX news and a large part of our ever growing news archive is now available in
Russian as well.
With this, the MSX Resource Center and its contents have become available in the mother tongue of yet another large group of people who (used to) know MSX computers. As you might know, Yamaha MSX computers were widely used in educational institutions of the USSR during the late 1980s and early 1990s. Of course, we have also opened a
Russian MSX forum where Russian MSX friends can talk about MSX in their mother tongue.
For the first time since we went multilingual, we have also made it possible to translate articles. As a result, the
ObsoNET review and the
Japan 2005 (MSX World - I love MSX) report are both available in Russian as well. More articles are to follow in the future.
The multilingual features of the MRC can only be made possible by the dedication of a large group of active volunteers, who spend a lot of time in translating the MRC interface, news, articles and moderating the reactions and forum threads that are posted on the multilingual sites. We could always use some extra hands, especially for the
Portuguese MSX Resource Center, and are always interested in adding new languages, such as Japanese, Arabic, French and German (our current top 4 wish-list). If you'd like to help us out, please fill in a
join our team form and we will certainly contact you.
