Ronnie van der Kolk announced in
this forum thread the Shmup event 2009. This is a true and live retro 2D
shoot'em-up contest: playing through 20 different
shoot'em-up games on 20 different retro game platforms (MSX included) will bring forward a new
king of shmups.
The event is to take place in Apeldoorn (The Netherlands), Deventerstraat 30-A on October 10th of this year. There is parking space behind the building if you decide to come by car. You can request more information or enlist by sending an e-mail to Ronnie at
ronnie@rklok.nl. Entrance is € 7,50 for contestants. Play on!
