 Topic: Development

A new version of SjASM, XL2s' cross assembler, has been released a few days ago. New or fixed in this version:
  • ENDMAP directive
  • DEFM and DM synonyms for BYTE
  • file size is now reset when a new output file is opened
  • 'bytes lost' warning has been fixed
  • PHASE and DEPHASE directives as synonyms of TEXTAREA and ENDT
  • FPOS directive
  • Expanded OUTPUT directive
  • The possibility to generate a symbol file

SjASM isn't Sjasm..
By ro on May 22 2008, 08:18
so, what's the difference. Couldn't find any clues on the website... but then again, I'm lazy and don't like reading details
By sjoerd on May 22 2008, 11:49
The difference is that SjASM and Sjasm are both Z80 assemblers.

I would say forget SjASM and use Sjasm

Remind me to celebrate the day ro is actually gonna use *anything* at all, to produce *anything* at all..

..

(MSX related ofcoz)

..

until that day comes, I estimate he can't be bothered to use either SjASM or Sjasm..
