| | TNI announces MSX 25th Anniversary Event |
| | Wednesday, May 28, 2008 - 16:48 Submitted by: wolf_ Topic: Fairs & Meetings | | The New Image has just announced that they will organize an event next month in Den Dolder, Netherlands. The event will be sponsored by MSX Association and tables are free. Apart from date, location and route descriptions, it hasn't been made known yet whether this event is a fair or something completely else, although a fair would be a good guess. Date will be June 21st 2008, from 10:00AM - 5:00PM (like regular MSX fairs).
***update***
More information about the activities at this event has just been revealed: - Free MSX goodies

- Sale of MSX hardware
- The New Image show their latest developments
- Sale of MSX T-shirts, towels, etc
- Sunrise, sale of Sunrise products
- Bitwise, sale of games on cartridge
- MSXdev, promotion of MSXdev'08 and demonstration of contest entries from previous years
- Proxy trade

| By sunrise on May 28 2008, 23:07 | Well I have doubts, since by celebrating need a good preparation and most certain is its 25th anniversary.
Anxious to see what can be done in a month. From our side we want to bring also something special but therefor
it is necessary to have all faces in the good direction and a good agreement

| By AuroraMSX on May 28 2008, 23:15 | Regarding MSX, my face mostly points north-west (that is, towards NL ) or east (Konnichiwa Nihon!).
Would that be the right direction?

| By manuel on May 29 2008, 00:00 | I was about to post this to the mailinglist:
This looks cool, however, with only the location info and the promise that it's worth it, I don't know how many people will be convinced to come. Can you give us some more details on what a visitor or booth holder can expect there?
Also, what exactly is the involvement of MSXA? (I don't see this event on their web site, e.g.... In fact, the latest update on their site seems to have been done 1.5 years ago.)
... or am I just being too impatient to ask for more info?
So, I think I'll wait until more info becomes available.

Nice initiative. Shouldn't take a year to organize such event. MSX fairs ain't as grand as in early nineties you know.

| By FiXato on May 29 2008, 15:41 | Nice initiative!
I'll be there, deo volente
And what would one need for an anniversary party, apart from friends of the birthday-boy/girl/thing itself?
*looks forward to spending some hours chatting to those who wish the MSX many more years *

| By SaebaMSX on May 29 2008, 19:58 | I am still thinking about going! The only thing which prevents me to fly there is next Barcelona MSX meeting! :-)

| By sunrise on May 29 2008, 20:44 | Ro, yes I am but to avoid misunderstandings this has nothing to do with organizing but planning of the new outcome of stuff.
It is most ignorant if we should come and there is nothing -,better said you see no CF's e.g. ,you get then again remarks that are not valid.
So I had to see within a small month what I can do about it that's the question ( sounds a tv-program)-
