Daniel Vik, the main developer of blueMSX, has released a new demo for MSX1. The demo, which comes as a 512kB MegaROM, shows impressive tricks such as a smooth full-screen scroller, a screensplit between SCREEN 2 and SCREEN 3 and more.

the problem in blueMSX versions before 2.3 the mapper guess routine is quite faulty... This is fixed in 2.3. You can always select the ASCII8 mapper yourself when you're in the file open dialog. It has an extra dropdown box.

After BodyHammeRs feedback on the scroller being too slow, I replaced the scroll engine with a more efficient one which gave a four times faster pixel scroll . I uploaded a new version of the demo at http://www.bluemsx.com/demos/waves11.zip
