A while ago, MRC regular Wolf_ sent us a pile of mp3 files to be added to our downloads database. As of now, you can download them all. Here's an overview:Previously, we already added Wolf's OPL4 song to the MRC Airwaves Challenge entry Wings (third place), of which you can download the mp3 recording over here and the Moonblaster Wave and mp3 files to the MRC MuSiXmas challenge winning SillyCone Christmas. Happy listening!

Very awesome, thanks wolf.
I especially like your Psycho World songs, they're the highlight of my Psycho World folder
By BiFi on August 10 2006, 13:18
Yep, it's indeed cucumber time
By BiFi on August 10 2006, 13:23
What happened anyway? Most of them have been on the Infinite website for quite some time.
By wolf_ on August 10 2006, 13:27
Edwin's server on the TU crashed, and ever since the mp3 downloads have been offline. Now that MRC hosts mp3's (finally) I don't bother much about hosting them myself anyway.
Btw, they've also been sent to omega and they can be -frequently- heard on the msx radio (live365).
By BiFi on August 10 2006, 13:29
I guess you will force el-chaoot to change them links now...
By chaos on August 10 2006, 14:59
bleeg
By snout on August 10 2006, 16:52
I posted it in the Space Manbow thread yesterday, I'll post it here again. I think that makes it MRC policy from now on:

If a newspost doesn't interest you, then at least have the decency to leave the reactions to those who are interested in it

That means you too, BiFi!
By norakomi on August 10 2006, 17:15
Man I love your work Wolf,
seriously I feel sooo good when listening to your tunes.
I put the volume up real high, cooking in the kitchen, listening to mog-world.
Dancing !!!!!
I feel like a kid !!
I hope you keep on making those tunes forever !!!!
thanks

I'm about to start on a new era of remakes, due a new powerful PC.. so stay tuned!
By ro on August 10 2006, 17:59
time for a cucumber song!
By wolf_ on August 10 2006, 18:08
I was *just* suggesting Snout a cucumber-challenge an hour ago ^_^
By mars2000you on August 10 2006, 18:26
Wolf : a new powerful PC ? So, now, you can run blueMSX without any problem, I guess ...

And of course, you are the Master Of Music on the MSX scene !
By wolf_ on August 10 2006, 18:40
uhm.. yes, no .. the new system is for the moment a music-only system (dual intel 64bit, 4gb ram, 640gb HD raid0).. my old 2002 system will remain to be my main system for daily duties (internet, email, gaming, messing-up, etc.) , and thus my uber-often puked on win98se system.. ^_^

but we'll see..
By BiFi on August 10 2006, 19:05
All that noise because I used the word cucumber?
By sunrise on August 10 2006, 20:33
What's your problem snout with a decent question from Bifi to Wolf, maybe I am blind or so , but seems a normal question
By wolf_ on August 10 2006, 20:55
sunrise: it's about the reply above that question..
By sunrise on August 10 2006, 20:59
The cucumber time ? even that is not woth for mentioning it.
If he's referring to your music than right it's ignorant
By wolf_ on August 10 2006, 21:01
The mentioning was a follow-up of yesterday's cucumbering in the space manbow 2 topic, where ppl doubted the importance of such news.
By sunrise on August 10 2006, 21:05
Becomes worser all the time I suppose, since the subject doesnot belong here
By BiFi on August 10 2006, 21:41
That so-called policy addition is purely a line to censor people from saying bad things about what they call news these days... a typical If you can't say anything nice about it, STFU policy.
By wolf_ on August 10 2006, 21:48
No, you think it is, as in: it's your opinion, but not a fact. On websites like FOK, there're also common policies when reactions like "this is news? *yawn*" are posted. You might get a -1 there, too many -1's result in some warning orso, dunno, over the years I only got one such warning. So, that's far more strict than here, where it's just noted that "if you don't like it, then at least don't make such an issue about it towards those who like the news (and perhaps towards those who submitted it)"
By snout on August 10 2006, 21:50
It's not about censorship, BiFi, it is about behaving properly though. It's about having respect for each other. It's about not being annoying. You can have criticism or be negative without being disrespectful or annoying. I have no problem with that. The continuous disrespectfulness and annoying behaviour of a handful of MRC members has, however, affected the motivation and activity of several MRC team members and visitors in such a negative way that, indeed, we think it's time to ask you (amongst others) nicely to shape up or... get lost indeed.

If you don't like the MRC, or don't like everything we post about, try and focus on the things you -do- like, or find yourself a website that suits your desires. Spend your time wasted on writing non-comments to actually developing something for MSX. Think about the people about whom this news actually is. Suppose Wolf_ and Norakomi responded similarly to a new release of ROMLOAD, how would you feel, BiFi? Hope you got the message.
By Edwin on August 10 2006, 21:57
To bring stuff back on topic. I listened to this stuff and I can say only one thing: don't give up your day job!
By karloch on August 11 2006, 01:15
I just can stop listening Maze of Galious - World rearrangement. It's awesome! The Metal Gear 1 orchestal is also one of my favourites.

Keep up with this good work wolf_!
By ro on August 11 2006, 09:52
indeed, the MG1 orchestral is a master piece!
By Matej on August 13 2006, 16:44
Coral2 is beautiful!!!
By DemonSeed on December 09 2006, 06:04
Nice one Wolf, ever very tasteful instrumentation and interpretation.

You've actually added something "worthy" to the original Maze of Galious - world song.

I love the fresh approach to the Starship Rendezvous music!

But what's with the speed of those Psycho World songs?
By wolf_ on December 09 2006, 12:21
Ah those, those are very old (around '01 or '02 I think) and back then I just recorded those BGM's from an emulator. I don't know anymore what emulator, but it wasn't NLMSX. The emulator couldn't cope playing those tunes while Soundforge was recording, so I got lower speed! ^_^
