Hi guys, I'm beginning to disassemble some old games, then I decided to use the IDA Pro mentioned in another thread. The only version "free" I've found is 5.5, does anybody have.. ops, it's not the reason for this post.
I am looking for a way to have in IDA Pro a setting that would help in disassembling files: A table with a definition for BIOS, system variables and Hooks so I didn't need to go renaming everytime I start disassembling another ROM.
Look, If there are nothing like this already made, I can do it by myself, the only thing I am asking is a little help in "how-to-do", and I'll share the results with you all.
I think that I can also make a table for DOS programs also, and even a way to disassembly bank-switched games (memory-mapped/megarom).
Thanks in advance,

Very nice thing,i tried in the past to run it but i had the same problems as you,in order to load megaroms or stuff higher than 48kbytes rom,we need to integrate an icon that this is msx rom like it has support for other systems like psx2 files,or amiga or pc dos executables. The z80 dissasembler is good but my knowledge of bios stuff is not so good.Regarding addresses and hooks maybe some more experianced programer here could help.
I think it would be very good!
I agree with you, but I need to know How to do it... anyone???
