Hi!

Please, does somebody know where are PCX2MSX and BINDB? I can´t find this tools for download. Please, help!

Hello again,

I am trying to convert characters made in Gimp to a asm db table using PCX2MSX and binBD (as explained in José Vila Cuadrillero cool asm tutorial) but I have a problem: when I use both programs for converting from a 256x24 pixels PCX file (text fonts) to a DB text table I only get a table full of 0FFh values (myname.pcx.chr.asm). What I am doing wrong? I just execute PCX2MSX.exe myname.pcx command and after binDB myname.pcx.chr.

how solved? Nothing is more frustrating than having this issue as well and finding this thread, without mentioning what solved it...

You are right. Well, just changed the mode of the image from RGB to indexed colour, in Gimp, and then the PCX2MSX conversor worked fine with the file.
