Looking for HB-f700 upgrade
Thanks Manual, this is a good start ! even if I m looking for more dumbproof / details solutions.
I got this schematic from Jipe. It should work for the HB-F700, but I haven't made it jet, so I can't tell for sure...
I'm going to make an external one that also was not tested for the Sony, but I'd rather experiment with an external memory mapper, than having to solder inside my HB-F700.
Eighter way, I hope you can use the schematic, and I'll let you know if my project was sucesfull or not.
When I bought my 700 from Repairbas, I asked him to put in some more RAM. Unfortunatly he said the required parts were no longer available... Forgot which parts they are... I doubt RAM chips
As I am a soldering disaster waiting to happen, I think I settle with the standard 256KB...
Want to hook my HB-F700 on an USB Capture device on my pc.
But the price of a RGB to composite converter is far beyond my budget 
RGB gives a very clear and sharp image on my 32 inch TV 
but that one is not standing on my desk so i want use the Capture device as cheap "monitor" and also record some video/audio if desired.

I also wanted my HB-F700 on a flatscreen monitor on my desk, next to my PC monitor.
The cheapest way is to find a flatscreen monitor with scart input on marktplaats or ebay (i found 1 for 15 euro's, works perfect)
Older monitors with scart and vga input most of the time support the RGB scart.
RGB signal is the way to go, recording you can always do on an emulator.
