You need to have a gmail account. When you sign in you'll have the option to add a place mark.

Curious...I wonder how many msx users live in USA.

for others: click on the 'pinpoint' icon at the top

To pin a placemark, sign in to your google account, click on "edit" on the left panel, then the icons will show up.
Click on the lightbulb icon, and drag it to your position. Click on the lightbulb itself, and you can change it´s name, icon, etc.

Then, click "done" on the left panel to finish, and that´s it!

Hmm, there is some other social mapping network site that has an MSX group with some place-marks as well… forgot the name though, anyone remember?

As Google is slowly taking over the internet, I expect google-maps to be somewhat more sustainable and popular..
