ROM dumps from MSX-Serial interfaces

Hi All!

I could not find on the Net any ROM dumps of the following MSX RS232 interfaces:

  • * Philips NMS-1210
    * Philips NMS-1211
    * ESE Harukaze


Does anybody has this devices and could make a dump of its ROMs?

Nobody has any of those RS232 interfaces?

I believe the NMS-1250 also has the same BIOS as the NMS-1210/11, so its ROM dump could also help me.

It seems the NMS-1255 also has the NMS-1210/11 BIOS.

If these roms are emulated wouldn't that be good?I really don't know wether they are emulated by bluemsx or other emulators.So wouldn't that be good?To make our emulators more accurate ?

As far as I know, the NMS1210 and NMS1211 do not have a ROM (at least I think I did not spot it on the PCB).

If I remember correct, there is a .Bin file which should be loaded to have the RS232C BIOS somewhere in RAM.

Didn't realise I was doing something wrong, just wanted to help someone out who's interested in keeping msx alive by developing or doing research Tongue
However, I don't wanna get into a lot of trouble so I think I reconsider my offer to dump the NMS1212 Sad
I do have another solution : if you make me a good offer you can buy my NMS1212 cartridge so you can investigate it as much as you need Wink
