Hi All,

I got an IDE Interface (sunrise) from an internetauctionsite (marktplaats.nl)
it has a floppy with probably the idefdisk.com file on it (haven't checked that yet lol)
The interface itself is naked, so without a cartridgecase around it.

My question is: can I build my own cartridgecase around it? (I have empty cases in order at Sunrise)

Other question is: is fat16 necessary for msx? Do I really fill those 32Mb or does that 2GB per partition really matter?

Question about the working of the device: Do i just put the IDE Interf. in cartridgeslot 1 and MSXDOS2.20 in Slot2 and create and format the partitions using the tools on the disk? Is it that simple?

thanks! Wink

Wolverine: fat16 is not really needed but it allows larger partitions, and it is available, so why not use it Smile

@Sky_hawk:
Indeed, I will install it and update the flashrom on the interface with it, it can never hurt.

you can use one of these and use any CF card as a solid state drive Smile
