It was discussed some times here on the forum, but I still can not find how to connect MSX VDP to the VGA monitor.
Anyone has achieved to get quality MSX picture on the VGA (LCD?) monitor? Which device should be used? Are there schematics available?
I think most people use lcd scart connector, so the vdp output is feeded from here. i'm unaware of people that connected vdp to a vga monitor if you mean this----
In the TI-99/4A scene we currently have an FPGA based project for replacing the 9918A with an enhanced version supporting VGA output.
The cool thing is that this is not only interesting for the TI-99/4A , plans are to support colecovision and msx1 as well.
In fact, some first tests were already done with an MSX1.
It was a nice moment to see MSX running on such screen!
RetroClouds can you olso post those images?
