Hello, a long time ago (I think it was in 1994) I bought the great Game PIXESS in Tilburg and I still have the Original Disk. Due Copy Protection it's impossible to make a DSK Image for the Emulator on a PC with a Floppy Drive. Does anyone knows if the Compjoetania Crew offers a DSK Image (for money)?
Has anyone new informations about playing Pixess on BlueMSX??? I liked this game so much.
Read this and take your conclusions about attitude of some coders in 2013, more than 20 years after end of MSX commercial area :
Eventually, download and install openMSX, create a DMK file with tool provided by the openMSX team (you need a Philips or Sony MSX drive) and run the game in openMSX.
The blueMSX team does not have any plan to support the DMK format, we'll wait for an unprotected DSK file (it exists, but no-one wants to release it to avoid another war about copyrights and decisions of the coders).
Thank you mars, but it doesn't help. I have an A1St Turbo R packed in the basement since 10 years. I hope that the former members of comjoetania will release a dsk version of Pixess. I own the original 2 disks, but I'am also ready to pay again for a dsk version which runs on bluemsx.
Black hawk: Send me an e-mail, may I can help out...
