Previously unknown "MSX game" ?
No never saw it before... Just wondering: how did you come up with the idea that this arcade game was based on MSX architecture?
I did some data mining on MAME sources... It was interesting...
I also found that Super Free Kick / Spinkick Arcades are heavily modifyed MSX2 computers (added another Z80 etc.)... The funny detail is, that they include MSX2 system ROMs with copyright notices removed.

Is it possible to get those Super Free Kick or Spinkick arcade games working on a regular MSX? Or is that impossible/ not worth the trouble?
not worth the trouble
(bad game)
(bad game)
...and bad coding...

Is all the game written in BASIC?
No, this is just "loader" converted to ASCII from one of the ROM's. Please note that lines 190-370 are not executed at all in any case.
On weekend I tested this game on MAME and I was a bit surprised... it is not bad, but it is not exellent either. I was expecting a lot worse game after seeing this BASIC mess.
I have no plans to fix it for MSX, so if anyone else is interested, feel free...

Just found this thread, NYYRIKKI are you going to give out a copy of Big 10 that we can try once you patch it so a key activates the coinslot? I would love to try a previously unknown MSX game!
TheRogue, Nyyrikki already made an emulator for the game which you can run on your msx. search the news posts from a while back...
So the coinslot problem is fixed? Oops, sorry for noobing out.
