For me it's amazing people choose to quit an MSX hobby in this time fragment. You'd expect that in the mid 90s or something. But quitting with MSX in 2009? You're either in desperate need of some cash or have lived under a rock and discovered in 2007 there are better computers to word process on than Tasword...

Latok, it looks like the news of world wide economic downturn didn't sink under your rock yet

People loosing faith in tomorrow see their priorities change from "I want to have a Turbo-GT" to "I hope to have a meal soon".

I also plan to boot all my hobby crap, including MSX. Just need to overcome depression for enough time to actually do it.

mm, but in an economical crisis you need a structural solution. A load o' MSX hardware and software like this gives you, what? €400? €500 perhaps? And only once!

MSX is a great hobby. When you already own all this stuff it is a very cheap hobby as well. In these times you must have a hobby to stay positive and to feel good. Making a small amount of money once is a bad move. Furthermore, it is not we are living in dark africa. We do not have to worry about food. Stories which suggest otherwise is tendencious nonsense.

well, I dont stop with MSX but will stop collecting. Last year i bought a OCM and i came to the conclusion that the OCM satisfides my needs.
