I wonder where the name R.A.T. came from

Thom! Dude!

Hmm.. Was it ten years ago? I think you're pretty damn right (1993 it was). Time flies... Time sure flies. So have you spoken to (R)einier and (A)bie recently, (T)hom?

Anyway, nice to see you here!

Nope, I haven't spoken to Reinier and Abi for years now Both are doing fine I guess, Reinier runs a professional dance-scene website and Abi has been busy multiplying himself. Abi is on my ICQlist though, but he never logs on to the service. Just like other people (hint).

I still follow the msx-scene, but as most people of the nineties have disappeared it's completely different. However, I do admire the efforts of the current generation lots.

Naaah, that's an urban myth. I fully deny it.

At least Abi visited Tilburg this year
And he was spotted on the #msxdev IRC channel a few times.

Aha. Well, I don't understand that either, but that could be my fault

My last visit to a fair was Zandvoort '98. A reason for me to go to a fair would be chatting to old msx-friends, but the "old men" don't go to fairs anymore. Except for Abi. And Bart.
And you, Patriek. I have to admit that I'm amazed by your Gameboy emulator for MSX. Still can't believe that such an annoying guy (we're talking 10 years ago now, of course ) is capable of coding this peace of excellence . Chapeau!

BTW could you list all the existing IRC channels related to MSX? (Wait a minute, I SHOULD READ THE FAQ )

Admitted, the guy can code. But he's still as annoying as he used to be

There's #msx on undernat
There's #msxdev on rizon
And there are several 'national' channels. #msx and #msxdev are the international and most active ones though. Hope to see ya there.

BY the way, I have seen much more familiar faces during recent MSX fairs than just Bart, Patriek and Abi

Possibly in the future. I'm not quite a chat addict though.

List them + how are they doing right now. Pleeeaaase. I'm really in a nostalgic mood. Still wondering what happened to people like Stefan Boer (got burnt out at some point?), BCF, Anma... etc. etc. (note to MOA: sorry for hijacking your thread )

Thanks!
And about being annoying, I probably still have the messages you left on my BBS 10+ years ago. They should be quite incriminating if I remember correctly

You're one to talk, you don't even know me that long! ^^;

But indeed, some people find me annoying still, but luckily a lot of others don't
I don't really care tho, I try to live by the rule "It doesn't matter what they say and write about you, as long as they pronounce and spell your name right."
