I'm using an RuMSX emulator (don't hate me...I'm only 18), and trying to play Snatcher on it. I've found a bunch of .lhz files, but my emulator doesn't know what to do with them. I Don't know what to do with them! Can I get some help please? Thanks a lot - I plan on visiting much more since I really want to get a real MSX, and this stuff really interests me.

Hi, the .lzh extension means the file has been archived (just like .zip and .arj for example). So decompress the files before using them. You don't have to apologize for being a "n00b", but you do for using this awful word "n00b". Please.

AFAIK WinZIP or any other modern Windows archiver handles lzh files just fine, or at least with a plugin.

WinRAR gets the job done as well

Both WinRAR and WinZIP require an external program to enable extracting files from an LZH with it: LHA.EXE

Not true, WinRAR extracts all LZH files without external programs. You need an external program if you want to compress files into LZH archives though

I use a useful program called UltimateZIP, it decompresses most file format that require it - no plugins needed
