The term 'J-BIRD' makes me think it's a JAVA version or something like that.

Wow

When I flew to Malaysia last year, you had a SNES in your seat with about 64 ROM images. But nothing beats playing F1-spirit or Pennant Race on a long flight!

and on a note: Why does a sign for msx gaming say that it is not available on flights to Korea etc.??? If u are on a flight to Korea, wouldn't the sign just not be there in the first place?

Hmm... good point.

I do know that Japanese- and Korean people don't get along, but holding them back from playing japanese games is a bit over the edge.

This way they don't have to change it each time the plane is flying a different flight.
You always get a booklet that says what movies they're gonna show, even if they're not going to be showing ANY movies, because yer on a 'local' flight.

No, it's the name of the airplane J stands for Japan. These games are offered in certain flights from Japan to far away places and back. I once was in such an aircraft, but I didn't play the games. Why? I don't know, really. For anyone interested: these games are offered by the JAL, but sadly it's one of the most expensive flight companies.
