I always wondered wether Salamander could be finished without the 'crystal breeze' (which you can only obtain with nemesis 2 in slot 2)

I must have finished Salamander over 300+ times (yes i was an addict) ... but i never found all chapters... there's always 1 missing it seems...

I believe so. It would be pretty lame knowing that one can only finish the game with Nemesis 2 in slot 2. But I do believe the game has a different ending... (could be wrong here )

Hey, I got another one!

When you play with a code in MoG and you defeat the demon of a world you, according to the code, already took, you get stuck. Strange music keeps playing and there's no way out! Did Konami deliberatly to this? Or is this more like a program bug?
I always wondered...

It's not a bug, it's a feature. The game would never give you a password that takes you in this situation, so there's no reason to prevent the possibility at all.
In other words, konami just said to you "quit fscking with our passwords!"

AFAIK Salamander can't be finished correctly without the Crystal Breeze. When you finished the game without it, you'll indeed get a different ending. The Crush Blow System (or Leek System in Japanese) will be destroyed.

About the MoG code, which one is it and how can I get this 'feature'?

Oh wait... You're probably talking about the generated passwords you get from Demeter. That indeed is a feature, since the code creates a situation where you still need to defeat a great demon of a world of which the key to the next world is already open for (weird sentence, don't you think?).

hmm, you're most likely right about this.
Is is true that only the last two characters of the password are of any importance?
I once read that, if the last two characters match, that's all that matters. That's why passwords like

HENK HENK HENK
HENK HENK HENK
HENK HENK 4

are accepted.

If you want to know more about that, you might like to visit the MoG remake site where the whole password system is explained (and why such weird passwords work too).
