Without MSX, my days would definitely look different. Without MSX I wouldn't have synths in my house... I wouldn't be in the line of business I am today... I would have a different sort of girlfriend... I would never ever have learned any japanese without the MSX.

As a matter of fact... Thanks to the MSX I have a life now. Without it, I would've had some boring office-job and nothing to do after working-hours.

What some combination of chips can do to a human-life. Intriguing...

Rubbish. I bet you like Star Trek and Tolkien et al. Plus you probably solve difficult physics problems in your spare time.
Diagnosis: female nerd.

Yes, it does.. According to the Merriam Webster dictionary its meaning is (and has been for over 50 years): an unstylish, unattractive, or socially inept person; especially : one slavishly devoted to intellectual or academic pursuits <computer nerds>

I'd be offended if someone called me unstylish, unattractive and socially inept.

Because then he/she's totally forgetting about the computers!
Euhm, but really... it depends on your definition of 'nerd'. I don't care what people call me as long as I like what I'm doing. And so far that's been the case
