MOA? do you have japanese girfriend?

The asociations:

MSX -> Japan -> Japanese culture -> Japanese Girl -> Japanese Wife
MSX-> computer -> computer science studies

I think are very common.

I remenber a guy called KONAMIMAN, he was very representative about that. Did he married already with the japanese girl?

Yeah man! He did! http://www.msx.org/forumtopicl1192.html

Nobody has heard from him since tho... We all think his MSX has been taken hostage and he has to take his wife shopping all day. *sigh* Another poor soul lost to the evil of marriage...

MSX -> Japan -> Japanese culture, so far so good. But another option (like it is in my case):

MSX -> Japan -> Japan studies -> Dutch girlfriend studying Japanese

Never succeeded in getting her enthusiastic for MSX, though. Although she likes Puyo Puyo

Puyo puyo isn't actually restricted to MSX either

There's even an online version using flash.

I have to say (if you're interested on my case ) MSX was a coincidence for me... I've been several years waiting to buy a ZX Spectrum and finally, when I went to the computer shop with my parents a new and spectacular computer just arrive to Spain... the Sony HB75P...

of course, it looks much better than the "old little black squared" machine of sinclair and we bought it quickly. From there, hours and hours of great Konami games, and tape games (US Gold, Ultimate, Compile, Topo, Opera, Dinamic... ahhh...) and then I started to learn BASIC and Assembler.

Despite I study biological sciences, computing left as my great hobby, and MSX in my memory.

And what about the others spanish MSX users with japanese girfriends? I meet some in the MadriSX200X. SaveR perhaps?

I will go to see him in BCN as soon as possible. I am moving to Valencia soon. We can let women start talking about freaky husband and start a good F1-Spirit game like the old times 8) ...
