is there a way to add more ram to an emulator using other roms? fmsxce only has 128k but does not give the option of running with switches from a command line.

if the emulator doesn't have the option to do it, it's impossible.
Besides, why would you need more RAM in an emulator? Even only 16K RAM allows you to run most (if not all) ROMs and disk-games generally only need 64K, although mostly 128K for european games.

yeah, im pretty sure its impossible, but i need 256k in order to run a hacked version of metal gear that allows saving to disk.
apparently the saving to tape function is buggy or not implemented, the sram doesnt work so i cant save using game master 2, and flash rom saves arent supported either so i cant work with the flash hack.
