Daewoo CPC-51R Zemmix V console + Zemmix game Double Dragon
ULTRA-RARE ITEM ! In fully functional condition of course

For who doesn't know this one, it is a MSX1 based gaming console that was only sold in Korea. Now these are even extremely rare in Korea. It is 100% compatible with MSX1 cartridge games.

I will trade for:
- a Panasonic FS-A1GT (with 100% working FDD)
- or for a Daewoo Zemmix Super-V (MSX2 version)

If I receive multiple offers, the better offer (read +box, +manuals, +games, +...) will get the trade...

Mail your offer to AsshenArgon@NOSPAM.hotmail.com (remove the NOSPAM. if you mail me)

You offer a MSX1 without keyboard and you want to change it for a Turbo-R GT?
What a good deal, boy!
Seriously, I know that a ZEMMIX is a super-rare MSX collector item, but it cannot be compared to a Turbo-R machine, that is the top of MSX machines.

Good luck, anyway.

Kind regards,

A Zemmix is much much rarer than a turboR, and its value is higher.
I paid much more than the price of a turboR for it.
You're actually doing a good deal trading with a GT... (and I'm making quite some loss, but I have 2 identical Zemmix consoles)

It actually took me 3 years to find one, they are really really rare!
I have 2 contacts in Korea who also collect Zemmix material. They both haven't seen any Zemmixes for sale in years.

Trust me, this is a collector's opportunity.
I don't think you will get the chance to get one for this price soon
If I were to put it on eBay, it could probably go up to 400 euro.
(I will place it on eBay if I don't get a decent offer within about 2 weeks time)

that depends whether you're into collecting or into actually using the machine. But Argon is right, there are many people who would kill for a Zemmix console. Ultra rare stuff.

If you are a collector, it worths that price.
If you are an active MSX user/programmer, better keep your Turbo-R and buy some extra hardware/software for it. At the moment I own different MSX systems, but I only use three computers: SVI 738 with 128 KB VRAM, NMS-8245 and Turbo-R GT.

I know that this is just an opinion, but...

I'm both, a collector and a user.
I currently use an NMS-8250 with 512K memory mapper and HDD (and planning to build in a PC power supply, 7MHz, V9958(MSX2+) and Basic 3.0 ROM, if I find all the components ).

My second Zemmix is in my collection, I don't use it for playing games or anything...
It are collector's items.

You're the third person in the netherlands who ownz a Zemmix, that I know of. That's about the same amount of people who own a Turbo-R GT that I know of. So the rarity of the Zemmix machines is a point of discussion imho.

If I had the money I could import multiple turboR from Japan without any problem in a period of 3-4 months.
You should try and find only 1 Zemmix machine in that period... good luck

Yes, I'm from Belgium
As far as I know I'm the only one in Belgium with a Zemmix.
At least 3 people have a turboR GT here in Belgium. (If I'm correct: D.Kokken, MSXGamesBox, Maggoo and someone from the French part of Belgium)

Anyway, I already have a financial offer for the Zemmix.
But I prefer a trade to avoid all the hassle of importing a turboR GT from Japan...

#up#

Damn, a lot less interest than I had hoped.
Well, for the trade as for that matter. Buyers enough

Maybe it is my trade that is not that easy ?
I can figure that not everybody just had GT's lying around to trade with

Anyway, I will accept financial offers too from now on.
Again, if no good offers before saturday, then I'll put it on eBay.

Kris.

No way. The turbo R GT is not as rare as the Zemmix. In Bussum I saw more than 3 GT's and mine was still at home. BTW, a Dutch Ebay-user is selling lots of GT's at Ebay the last year.

Then again, what is rare? At Bussum I showed the complete line of Brasilian MSX computers and no one had seen them before or even heard about them. So I guess I am the only Dutch person who ownes Brasilian MSX computers, but does that make them rare? Maybe in Europe but not worldwide.

My point is: compared to a Zemmix, the GT is quite common.
