I've decided to not open a new webshop.
[CENSORED NAME] was the final drop that made me change my mind ! (Check comp.sys.msx)
He started making personal insults, what's it to him anyway ? What a lamer

I'm sorry for the people that liked the webshop idea better than buying on eBay.
Blaim [CENSORED NAME] for it!

I mean, it was on YOUR request that I wanted to reopen the webshop (I was happy selling on eBay).
And what do I get ? Whine whine whine, bah !

No more dudez !
Back to eBay !

As you know, I do understand your decission, of course. But please, try not to blow things up by spreading names and blaming people.

I know that's not your intention but just want to point to what is happening now. The MSX-scene has had and is having too much trouble caused by personal stuff. I suggest, just do your own thing and try to grow an 'olifantenhuid'

BTW, why aren't you selling stuff on Ebay at the moment? Can I start winig here or should I complain in an email?

Why am I not selling on eBay ??? What a question
Because I was still coding the new webshop until today when I saw the post by [CENSORED NAME] of course.
I haven't had the time to add the sales to eBay yet.

Maybe I'll do the elephant hide thing you were talking about.
Don't know.
I'll wait for now. I'll code my 3D engine project for a while, maybe in a few hours when I'm a little less angry then I'll decide...

Argon, I hope you can understand that only a few of your potential customers sent you negative feedback because of your webshop. Don't let it get to you too much, it's in the nature of many people to send complains when things go (slightly) wrong, and not to say 'good job!!' every now and then.

I can understand that you don't want to put efforts in creating a webshop anymore. If you want the 'MSX Community' instead of the 'eBay collectors' to be able to buy products first hand (which is a very good idea), the webshop would be very nice, but of course you could also post a message in our trade forums every now and then.

Looking forward to your first MSX developments, by the way

Thank you
I'm sure that in a few hours I'll be calmed down.
Maybe I'll see the whole thing different then.

(Remember that I'm still pretty sick (griep) and tired (can't sleep well, wake up coughing all night))

Greetz.

yes, i got your point. it was not to mention his name but only to point the fact that (just like many many forums) quoted posts can be annoying for moderators.

but hey, the point of a webshop is to sell stuff. im sure argon can get rid of his turbo-R's with or without a shop.. a turbo-r is an neat gadget

That goes without saying, but I really liked it that Argon chose to offer his products in his own webshop/MRC/mailinglist/usenet first.

Argon, the [censored] guy is just a real smartass. He was probably trying to be funny. He's like this always
I myself occasionally get really pissed of by his remarks as well...

Too bad you let these remarks spoil it, but I can understand.
It's just that ebay sucks for me (I get a lot of ebay errors causing me not being able to bid most of the time).. ah well.
